Knaphill Kitchen

We’re delighted to share the photos from last weeks shoot.  We’re really pleased with how it all looks and hope you like the kitchen as much as we do!

We’ve tried to include a lots of details but there’s so much that goes into a project like this, it’s tricky to mention it all.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

This characterful cottage is set in the
heart of Knaphill.  O
nce the village sweet shop, it’s since been extended into a
beautiful family home.  The kitchen is a focal point within the house, linking the dining and TV room to create a fluid, flexible and really user friendly living area.

The cabinetry is a traditional shaker style design with additional beading around the door and drawer frames.  It’s made from solid tulip wood and painted in The Little Greene’s “Slaked Lime Mid”.

There are 3 bespoke solid walnut cutlery trays in each of the top drawers.

The kitchen features a mobile pastry block on casters which can be moved into the centre of the room to act as an island or set back to one side to allow more space.

The glazed dresser displays all the glassware and incorporates a stunning burr walunt tray in the bottom.

The use of walnut naturally compliments the pale cabinetry and is throughout the kitchen with a 40 mm thick solid stave worktop, a walnut kick board and a stunning wood interior.

The kitchen also boasts a double larder with wooden spice racks, shelving, baskets and a drawer.

The French style fridge, wine cooler and cooker are all Rangemaster appliances.  The sink is a Franke granite composite under mount with a Churchmans ceramic handle tap.

Stunning slate tiles have been used for the flooring and Fired Earth “Contignac Merlot” tiles provide the  striking splash back behind the range cooker.

A huge thank you to Louise Bushell Photography for all our fab photos!
