It was a pleasure working on this contemporary shaker kitchen project in Maidenhead. This is a very sociable household who wanted a huge island with plenty of seating space for friends and family to mingle around. With lots of kitchenware and crockery to house, maximising storage was also a key part in the design process of this space. There are some great focal points in this kitchen including the vintage silver mirror splashbacks and Wolf appliances but we think the “gin bar” steals the show! The mirrored back and glass shelves give the bar an elegant and glamorous feel whilst the pivot doors enable the gin bar to remain open without the doors getting in the way when it’s in use!
